ELCOR Hybrid FM Transmitters have been
designed to operate in the frequency modulation band with high
quality, efficiency and robustness.
The final RF amplifier is composed of a resonant cavity and one single output electronic valve (tube) in grounded-grid configuration, which guarantees a high power efficiency of the transmitter.
The valve and the cavity can operate in the entire FM band (from 87 to 108 MHz). The operating frequency is programmed by a highly stable frequency synthesizer (in the Exciter), based on a Phase Locked Loop (PLL) circuit.
