Short Wave Hybrid Transmitters
ELCOR SW Transmitters represent one of the main reasons of prestige for this firm since its foundation, 45 years ago.

Their design guarantees the audio quality, reliability and robustness needed to operate in such a demanding band as Short Wave. A considerable number of ELCOR SW Transmitters are operating around the world (the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa and the South Pacific) with a range of power that goes from 1,000 watts (1 KW) to one million watts (1 MW).

ELCOR Hybrid SW Transmitters offer the same features as their MW counterparts. Audio signals are poly-phase pulse width modulated (PPWM) and amplified by IGBT type semiconductor devices in class D. On the other hand, radio frequency is amplified by a single electronic valve in class C in the final amplifier. The advantages in energy saving, reliability and robustness are the same as those of the ELCOR. Hybrid MW Transmitters.

Finally, all the ELCOR Hybrid Transmitters are available to operate in one to four pre-selected frequencies upon the client’s request. Frequency shift is automatic and achieved by programmed pre-tuned circuits. Also, prices are very competitive because each transmitter is built to include only the frequency bands that are required.
