ELCOR broadcast transmitters have been, for
over 45 years, one of the most robust, reliable and competitive
in the market, in every band: Frequency Modulation (FM), Medium
Wave (MW) and Short Wave (SW). These are designed, assembled and
tested by a experienced technical personnel, in our facility
located in downtown San Jose, Costa Rica.
All ELCOR broadcast transmitters are protected against tension and current overloads, and VSWR by reliable protection circuits with LED fault indicators. The most important electrical readings are monitored by analogue panel meters for good control and diagnosis of the equipment. Moreover, the control system makes possible automatic and manual start of the transmitters including a remote control start.
As we speak, ELCOR S.A. is finishing its own development for digital equipment for the eventual broadcast technology transition.
